Vibe Ride Non-Discrimination & Accessibility Policy

The Vibe Driver and Rider apps match nearby independent drivers with rider requests which lowers the possibility for unlawful discrimination to interfere in the process of a rider receiving transportation. Discrimination against riders or drivers based on race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law is prohibited. Such discrimination includes, but is not limited to, refusing to provide or accept services based on any of these characteristics. Any rider or driver found to have violated this prohibition will lose access to the Vibe app.

Independent Drivers must comply with all applicable state, federal and local laws governing the transportation of riders with disabilities. For riders who are blind or low-vision and may be traveling with service animals, independent drivers must comply with all applicable laws regarding the transportation of service animals. In addition, independent drivers are expected to accommodate riders using folding wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other assistive devices to the maximum extent feasible.

Any report of unlawful discrimination will result in a review of the incident and temporary deactivation of the independent driver app while under review. Confirmed violations of the law with respect to riders with disabilities may result in permanent loss of an independent drivers access to their Vibe Driver app.
